A sister owned sister company focused on producing handcrafted gourmet nuts, baked goods and sweet treats with recipes straight from the kitchen of their family’s 90-year-old speciality nut business. After trading the corporate grind for aprons and whisks, these sibling entrepreneurs are chasing toddlers and dreams while bringing their old family recipes to a new zip code.

Working side by side as sisters & best friends, Anna and Abby have a clear mission: usher their family’s multi-generational women-led business into a new era by bringing it to the heart of Tennessee. Established in 1929, Shute Pecan Company has proudly produced handcrafted gourmet nuts from their Alabama storefront for over 90 years. “We grew up running around our grandma’s warehouse, climbing on giant burlap bags of pecans. It’s in our DNA.” Today, the new moms hope to revitalize the nostalgic retail experience of mom & pop shops by expanding their sister company into a modern mercantile for a new generation of tastemakers.
